Units list or handover “Unit acceptance.” Chip: Not walked / Walk in progress / Walk failed / Accepted.

Failures go to the GC and open Walk 2. Accept unlocks only when every item passes or is N·A — keys, owner access, asset records.

The doors

Start from units, or from handover.

Door A lives on the property units list. Door B is the handover workspace section labeled Unit acceptance. Same launch. The form cannot nest inside a row link — that’s why the chip sits beside Continue walk / Start acceptance walk.

Not walked — Start acceptance walk.
Walk in progress — Continue walk / Resume.
Walk failed — Review walk. Walk 2 re-checks the failures.
Accepted — stamped, with the date.

Punch write

The summary is the punch surface.

Heading: Punch items with the GC. Status vocabulary is closed: pending (Queued), sent, failed (Retrying), skipped (No punch line). Nothing here needs your attention unless a row failed — then Retry now. Each row carries its FixGrid reference so the GC’s list and this walk agree.

Writes only Action items, after Finish — not on every keystroke.
No Procore link: No punch line. Failure stays on the walk in FixGrid.
Unmapped unit location still writes; the name carries the unit label.
The one deliberate Procore write. Handover stays a read / import. Warranty defects are not a second write.

What is Unit Construction Acceptance?

How is this different from Construction Handover?

Handover is documents in — drawings, warranties, O&M, Procore import. Unit Acceptance is punches out — walk the unit, write failures to the GC. Same construction story, opposite direction. Construction Handover →

Does every failure write to Procore?

What about Walk 2?

Finish walk with failures sends those items to the GC and opens Walk 2 for the re-check. Accept unlocks when every item passes or is marked N/A.
