Public API & webhooks

Included on every plan.

A Company Admin makes keys under Integrations, Developers. There is nothing for FixGrid to turn on and no partner fee. The full reference lives on developers.fixgrid.app.

  • Scoped keys: read, write or webhooks only. A key is shown once, and you can label and revoke it.
  • Read tickets, staff, properties, units, assets, vendors, inspections, turns, and meters with their readings.
  • Write: create a ticket; change its status, priority or category; assign it; reopen it or add a note; post a move-out notice or a move-in.
  • Limits: 120 requests per minute per key, cursor paging, and an idempotency key on every create and update.
Outbound webhooks

Events, signed.

Subscribe a URL to platform events. Every delivery is HMAC-signed, so your system can check it came from FixGrid.

  • Delivery log with a test send, pause, secret rotation and retry of parked deliveries.
  • Timing: every event goes out on an hourly sweep. On a paid plan, new tickets, status changes and assignments also go out within about five minutes.
  • Not real time, and we say so. Build for minutes, not seconds.
Slack & Microsoft Teams

The alerts that matter, in the channel your team already reads.

Paste a channel's incoming webhook URL under Integrations, Connections, then send a test. FixGrid posts cards with an Open in FixGrid link. No new app for your team to learn.

FixGrid is the maintenance record, not your accounting or leasing system. The data that crosses between them moves by CSV today.

  • Export properties, users and contracts from their pages, and assets on Professional. Units, leases and residents export in MITS-shaped columns, and we pull them for you on request.
  • Reports: CSV exports on every plan, and any saved report view downloads as a branded PDF.
  • Staff CSV import: upload a CSV to create pending staff invites.
  • Onboarding imports: we import your properties, units and residents for you during setup.
Honesty

What this is, and what it isn't.

  • No live PMS sync yet. A live connection to Yardi and other PMS platforms is on the roadmap, not built.
  • No SSO yet. Single sign-on for staff is on the roadmap.
  • Not real time. New tickets, status changes and assignments go out within about five minutes on a paid plan. Everything else goes out on an hourly sweep.

Straight answers on integrations

Is the FixGrid API included in every plan?
Yes. Every plan includes the public REST API and signed webhooks. A Company Admin makes keys under Integrations, Developers. There is no partner fee and no API add-on.
Does FixGrid work with Slack and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Add a channel's incoming webhook URL and FixGrid posts alerts there as cards: emergency tickets, vendor holds, stale work, turn ready-date changes, property notices, compliance reports needed and on-call gaps.
Does FixGrid sync with my PMS?
Not live yet. FixGrid runs alongside your PMS, and data moves by CSV today: properties, units, leases and residents export with MITS-shaped columns, and we run the onboarding import for you. A live PMS connection is on the roadmap.
Are webhooks real time?
No. Every event goes out on an hourly sweep, and on a paid plan new tickets, status changes and assignments also go out within about five minutes.
