Inspections

Walk the property. Watch it fix itself.

Build any inspection your team actually runs, execute it on a phone in the field, and the moment something needs action, the work order writes itself. No clipboard, no re-keying, no findings that die in a PDF.

FixGrid Inspections run on a mobile-first execution surface where every item is marked OK, Action, or N·A — and any item flagged Action auto-generates a service ticket on submit, so findings become tracked work instead of a PDF nobody reads.

From flag to fix

The findings don't end as a note. They end as work orders.

Submit the walk and every Action item becomes a real service ticket — numbered, assigned, with the inspector's note and photo attached. The summary is the auditable record; the tickets are the follow-through. Nothing slips between the clipboard and the queue, because there is no clipboard.

  • Auto-ticketing on submit — each action becomes a tracked work order.
  • Notes + photos travel with the ticket, straight from the field.
  • Print or export the completed record for owners and auditors.

Common questions

How FixGrid inspections work

How do inspections work in FixGrid?
You run inspections on a mobile-first execution surface, built from a template of sections and line items. Each section carries a Present / N·A toggle, and you mark every line item OK, Action, or N·A as you walk. On submit, every Action item becomes a tracked service ticket — so the walk closes the loop on its own.
What happens when an inspection item fails?
Mark the item Action and an inline issue panel opens for your note and a photo. When you submit the inspection, FixGrid auto-generates a numbered, assigned service ticket for that item — with the note and photo attached — so the finding becomes tracked work instead of a line in a report nobody reads.
Does FixGrid use pass/fail?
No. The real in-app control is OK / Action / N·A, not pass/fail. OK means the item checked out, N·A means it doesn't apply, and Action is the one that matters — it flags a finding and turns into a service ticket on submit.
Are there inspection templates?
Yes. FixGrid ships with inspection templates — property walks, make-ready QA, move-in and move-out, life-safety rounds, unit turns — and you can clone any of them to match the inspection your team actually runs. Each template defines the sections, codes, and line items you'll mark in the field.
Can I run inspections from my phone?
Yes. FixGrid is a mobile-first PWA — claim the inspection onto the device, walk basements and boiler rooms offline, and sync when you surface. No clipboard, no re-keying back at a desk. How field offline works →
